Photo Central is pleased to partner with KEH.com for used equipment buying events. KEH is a leader in the used camera market and they will be in town to purchase used cameras, lenses, and on-camera speedlights from you.


KEH offers two forms of payment for used equipment. They can write a cheque on the spot based on their evaluation of your gear. Alternatively, you may take the payment as a store credit with Photo Central and get an extra 10% bonus in the process! In either case, it is the easiest way to sell your used gear with a reputable company.


This is in addition to Photo Central's year-round used equipment trade-in service.

When will the next KEH event happen?

May 2nd and 3rd, 2025. The event normally begins around 9:30 and goes to about 5:00 on Friday, 4:00 on Saturday.


How long will it take to sell my gear?

Customers are seen on a first come, first served basis, so wait times depend on how many people are in line and how much equipment they have brought for evaluation. Once the KEH representative has a chance to evaluate your gear it typically takes 10-15 minutes.


Which types of equipment will KEH purchase?

KEH will purchase both film and digital equipment. For these events, they will accept camera bodies, camera lenses, and on-camera flash units. Please do not bring light stands, tripods, enlargers, darkroom equipment, or anything else which is not a camera body, camera lens, or on-camera flash.


Will KEH bring any used cameras for sale?

No. If you are interested in purchasing second-hand equipment from KEH your best option is their online presence at keh.com.
